WLDI Systems generates stock rankings based on the relative valuation for 4700 U.S. traded stocks. Most companies with market cap above $50 mil are covered. Internal ranking scale is simplified to 5-tier scale, with about 2% of stocks receiving "buy" and "sell" ratings, and about 20% of stocks receiving "overweight" and "underweight" ratings. The current model is the product of research started in 1999 and is based on quantitative methodology ranking stocks according to valuation based on several groups of factors (fundamental cheapness, risk, technical momentum etc.) We believe that the model has significant predictive power to outperform other peers over the years.
